Blinken was a wonderful foundation bitch. After waiting several years for her, she was well worth the wait. Many thanks to Hilda Deslauriers-Ginter of Bearbrook Newfoundlands for this wonderful girl. She had two litters for us, one of which produced our "Lola". She finished her championship easily in Canada, and won Best of Opposite sex at the Newfoundland Club of Quebec specialty the following year (1999). She had a large amount of bone and she floated when she moved out. She had a very soft expression and a gentle personality. She died after a valiant battle with cancer on 10/21/04. Her legacy lives on in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. |
